Her consulting experience includes diverse projects in strategy, sustainability of Family Business Systems, organization, performance management and business productivity, in sectors such as mass consumption, industrial, financial services, media and services in several Latin American countries, such as Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Mexico and Dominican Republic.

Her career at Virtus, first as a Project Manager, and then as Vice President and Partner, has involved the leadership of multiple multidisciplinary teams of consultants and clients to achieve deep transformations and high impact results, simultaneously addressing the what (business strategies) and the how (culture, ways of working and leadership).

Catalina holds an Industrial Engineering degree from Universidad de los Andes with a specialization in Corporate Finance from CESA and an International MBA from IE Business School.
